Visit with Grandpa

We had a great visit with Grandpa Danny and Shirley around Thanksgiving.  All of us toured the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan Resort--it was pretty cool.  Here are some photographs that Lunden (yes, Lunden took some) and I both shoot during our time together.

Santa Success!!!

Big news everyone!  We saw Santa today...and not a tear was shed!  Wahoo!  Lunden is so afraid of anyone in costume it was a complete miracle!  Lunden says Santa is bringing him a race track...and Harper...she was just excited to see Lunden smiling.  She's so funny!  She kept looking at him from across Santa's Lap.
I tried to doctor up the boring photos from the photographer...

We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Happy Halloween (Grandparent Post)

We knew you were anxiously anticipating some photos, so here are a few. Check out where Harper is reaching in the last one! I have not had time to edit many, but be sure to check out the slideshow on the photography blog for more pics! New Pics of the Kids

It's so funny how when I bring out he camera the kids turn into their "authentic" selves. Lunden gets all sweet, controlled and posed; while Harper just relishes in the attention--she LOVES it! She smiles with her whole face, which makes it virtually impossible to take a photo with her eyes open.
--I LOVE that. I hope they never change.

Johnson Park Slideshow

A Day at the Park

Steve was in Kansas City this weekend, so the kids and I took a trip to Celebration Park in Allen. It was a beautiful day--sunny and warm.

Lunden disappeared within the first 5 minutes and found a group of boys to play with--it was nearly impossible to get a photograph of him! In the meantime, Harper tried her best to eat as many wood chips as possible and when she was not chowing down like a chipmunk, she really enjoyed playing in the tunnel...if only she knew what that did for her hair!

Our friends Edie and Caden met us there, and we all had a great time!

I will post more photos on my photography blog.
